Bears

Enjoy a scenic boat-ride on the calm waters of the Clayoquot inlets. Only 30 minutes away, you will feel like you are in a different world, so quite and peaceful.

The protected beaches in the inlets are home for many black bears in this region. After the winter hibernation, late spring to October, they will come to shore at low tide, roll over the rocks, to feed on crab and other  shellfish. We get as close as possible to the Bears, without disturbing them, you can hear them turning the rocks and eating their food. It is also possible to see the cubs, learning from their mother and playing on the beach.

On this 2.5 to 3 hour Trip, you will also get to see other wildlife, such as seals, bald eagles, otters and all kind of birds.

Come and join us on this calm and scenic boat-ride to the Bears. It is also great for photographers.

Departures are tide depending.
