ADVENTURE TOFINO COVID-19 SAFETY PLAN
To our valued guests,

our team is very excited to be able to continue providing you and your family with a memorable and safe wildlife experience!
Adventure Tofino has developed the following procedures to ensure the health and safety of our employees and guests during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Update August 26th, 2021

-
Masks are now mandatory again inside our office space but not onboard our open Zodiacs.

-
Our large office space is marked with signs for distancing, a plexiglas barrier is installed at the check-in desk and a limited number, which is the guests preparing to embark on their tour or return from their tour is allowed in (max 12 people).
-
Guests are encouraged to use hand sanitizer when entering the office space and we have hand washing stations available before and after each tour as well as hand sanitizer on board our vessels.
-
Flotation suits will be set aside for at least 48 hours following their use. Hats, gloves and goggles will not be provided at this time.
-
Employees will maintain a distance of 2 metres (6 feet) between workers and guests wherever possible. When it is not possible to maintain distance staff will wear a face covering.
-
Employees have to wash their hands before they start their shift, before and after their breaks, using the washrooms and between tours.
-
Thorough cleaning schedules are in place to sanitize our office space as well as our boats after each tour. High touch surfaces such as door knobs, washrooms, countertops, benches and railings will be sanitized between tours.
-
If you are prone to sea sickness we suggest you do not come out on a whale watch tour with us at this time and choose the bear watch tour instead which goes onto calm waters.
